Identification and Management of Negative Impacts
Over the past 25 years, the number of workers in the United States reporting negative spillover between work and family domains has jumped from 34% to 45% (Bond, Thompson, Galinksy, & Prottas, 2002). Identifying the individual, familial, and organizational antecedents of spillover and providing workers and their families with the resources they need to manage negative spillover has become a major concern of academics, employers, and policymakers in the United States and abroad.
