The Network News Overview
The Network News is a work and family publication that focuses on topics relevant to working families, such as telecommuting, after school care, and shiftwork. The Network News is published monthly and is delivered directly to affiliates' e-mails. Archives are also available on the Sloan Network's website.

Conversations with the Experts
"Conversations with the Experts" are monthly interviews with work and family leaders that provide information about ongoing research activities, workplace best practices and state legislation on work-family issues. The "theme" of the issue is introduced and discussed primarily through this interview and is further developed in subsequent sections of the Network News.
Additional Resources
This section provides websites of organizations with useful information or resources relevant to the topic of the issue. Users are directed to the main page of the organization's site as well as guided to specific pages on the site that may provide resources of particular interest.
Literature Updates
The Sloan Work and Family Research Network maintains an online literature database which contains over 9,200 citations and annotations of work and family research publications. Each month, we select up to 10 publications to be featured in the literature updates section of the Network News. Approximately half of these publications are relevant to the topic of the issue, while the other half are new work and family publications that have recently been added to the literature database. We hope that this feature will help our users to stay informed about new work and family publications.

In this section, users will find announcements and updates from the Sloan Network regarding new features of the website, requests, and other pertinent information.
The Sloan Foundation Corner
The Sloan Foundation Corner is reserved for messages and announcements from the Sloan Foundation as well as announcements of publications and presentations made by Sloan Foundation grantees or products generated through Sloan Foundation-funded grants.

This section provides notices of upcoming calls for papers, conferences, and events related to work and family issues.
