Biography:
Anna works at the Centre for Labour Studies at the University of Malta. She is the coordinator of the Diploma Course in Gender and Development and lectures in the area of gender and the labour market in the same university. She is also one of the key researchers of the Centre, which is responsible for research produced for the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions.

Anna is currently pursuing her doctoral studies under the supervision of Professor Suzan Lewis at Middlesex University. She holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from the Manchester Metropolitan University and a Diploma in Social Studies (Women and Development) from the University of Malta.

Anna is a founding member and current Chairperson of the Malta Confederation of Women’s Organistions (MCWO) and a Board Member of the European Women’s Lobby.

She is married to Ray and they have two children, Yanika and Jan.
