Biography:
Rosalind Berkowitz King (PhD 2000, University of Pennsylvania) is a Health Scientist Administrator in the Demographic and Behavioral Sciences Branch at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. Previously, she held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Carolina Population Center of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her areas of specialization include fertility, infertility, and adoption; contextual influences on child development; and the interrelations between work, family, and health. Dr. King currently directs the Science and Ecology of Early Development (SEED) program and serves as the Staff Science Collaborator on the NICHD-led Workplace, Family, Health, and Well-Being Network. Her recent publications have appeared in International Migration Review, Journal of Research on Adolescence, Fertility and Sterility, and The Sociological Quarterly.
