Biography:
Rebecca Slan Jerusalim is the Canadian Manager of Assessment Services in Korn/Ferry International’s Toronto office. She is a knowledge specialist in succession management, high potential identification and development systems with a large range of leadership-related project experience. Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Dr. Slan Jerusalim worked as a consultant with Organization and Management Solutions (OMS) as well as for her own consulting practice where she designed leadership competency models for a variety of leadership positions, developed behavioural-based leadership assessments tools, facilitated job analysis, skills modeling and interview training focus groups, and analyzed the impact of succession management systems on employee and organizational outcomes. In addition, Dr. Slan Jerusalim worked as a consultant with a well-known Canadian human capital consulting firm that specializes in Strategic Talent Management. At this firm she conducted structured interviews with global leaders to design a leadership competency model, developed a high potential program guide and constructed leadership assessments reports for executive coaching engagements. As well, she analyzed, interpreted results and designed leadership succession industry reports. Dr. Slan Jerusalim holds a M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Guelph. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and business reports in the areas of high potential identification, leadership assessment and development, and work-life balance, including a recent article in the Globe and Mail. Dr. Slan Jerusalim has also been invited to present at various industry conferences, including the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology and the Canadian Psychological Association.
