Biography:

Dr. Jessica Bagger earned her Ph.D. in Management at the University of Arizona in 2006. She is currently Assistant Professor of Management at Sacramento State. Her current research interests include the impact of work-family issues on relationships at work. Specifically, at the individual and group levels, she is interested in investigating how employees’ work-family issues and use of family-friendly policies impact their relationships with coworkers and supervisors. Furthermore, she is interested in how different societal norms (e.g., Sweden vs. the U.S.) impact the experience of work-family conflict/enrichment and the management of work-family boundaries. Recently, she has also examined the impact of identity in the work-family interface. Related topics of interest include organizational justice and emotions. Her work appears in Educational and Psychological Measurement, Human Relations, International Journal of Selection and Assessment, Journal of Vocational Behavior, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.
