Biography:
Tammy Allen is Professor of Psychology at the University of South Florida.  She teaches, consults, and conducts research on work-family issues and career development within organizations.  Her research focuses on individual and organizational factors that contribute to employee and family members’ health and well-being. 

Tammy is associate editor for the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. She is an active member of several professional associations and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology.  She is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the American Psychological Association. Tammy is the Deputy Director of the Occupational Health Psychology graduate training program at USF that is funded through a grant from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health
