Applicant Pool, Definition(s) of
"Firms want to hire from a large applicant pool of qualified individuals. If a firm does not offer all the benefits of its competitor, its applicant pool will be smaller than the pool of its competitor and likely offer less qualified applicants." (Cook, 2002)
