Additionally, no one is talking about the health issues that older adults can incur while caring for their spouse or sibling. We need to deal with these issues because of the tremendous financial contribution that family caregivers make to society. Without them, there would be more family leave taken, there would be many more families taking on federal, state, or local assistance.
