Affiliate/join the Network!

Over the past three years, the website of the Sloan Work and Family Research Network has become a "commons" for individuals interested in work-family studies. During that time period, the Network's resources have been specifically aimed toward academics. 

We are particularly excited that the 2004-2007 Sloan Work and Family Research Network has been transformed into an initiative that stimulates the interest and engagement of academics, leaders at the workplace, and state policy makers in work-family research.

We would like to share with you the benefits of affiliation:

• Our website hosts a Literature Database containing over 6,000 citations/annotations of work-family research literature; a peer-reviewed Work-Family Encyclopedia that contains overviews of a number of key work-family topics; suggestions for class activities related to work-family course content; and archived newsletters.
• As an affiliate, you will receive our monthly e-mail publication, “The Network News” which includes interviews with work-family leaders, news and updates from the Sloan Foundation, updates about selected publications recently added to the database, and announcements of conferences and calls for papers.
• You can receive a discounted subscription to the international journal Community, Work, and Family.
• Network affiliates are eligible to recieve a discounted subscription to the Work-Life Clearinghouse (20% off a hard copy subscription and 15% off an e-mail only subscription).
• Affiliates may also receive notice of additions and improvements to the website.
• As always, please forward to us your ideas and suggestions for strengthening the Network and its resources.
