Sloan Network Updates and Reminders

  There is a new Work-Family Encyclopedia entry, Nonstandard Work Schedules and Work-Family Issues, by Wen-Jui Han.

The tenth issue of the Policy Briefing Series, Paid Sick Days, was mailed to policy makers across the country and is online in PDF format.

  We have added many new Work-Family Leaders this summer and hope to add more! Please feel free to nominate yourself or someone else; e-mail us at wfnet@bc.edu.

The Network News won a 2007 APEX Award for Publication Excellence! The October 2006 issue on Working Mothers received an APEX Award of Excellence in the category Newsletters: 1-2 Person Produced. The APEX Awards are given yearly by Writing That Works, "the authoritative monthly how-to newsletter exclusively on practical business writing, editing and communications."
