Sloan Network Updates and Reminders

Issue 9 of the Policy Leadership Series, Supporting Working Families with Children and Elderly Dependents, was sent to state policy makers across the country and is online in PDF format.

A new Work-Family Encyclopedia entry, Heterosexism in the Workplace, by Shaun Pichler, has been published.


There are many new terms defined in the Work-Family Glossary.


Two new Fact Sheets, Gender and Use of Workplace Policies and Employer-Sponsored Child Care, have been added to the Statistics section of the site.

Judi Casey presented at the 19th annual EASNA Institute on May 10 in Atlanta, GA. She provided a virtual tour of the Sloan Network. The Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA) is an association focused on advancing
knowledge, research and best practices toward achieving healthy and productive workplaces.
