There are many new Bills and Statutes related to elder care and child care on the site.

The Sloan Work and Family Research Network maintains an online database which contains the citations and annotations of work-family research publications.

One year ago, there were 7,300 citations in the Literature Database. As of  April 2007, we now have over 8,500 citations.

Each month, we highlight up to 10 publications that have recently been entered into this database.

Work-Family Project

AARP: Right Time, Right WorkPlace

With a grant from the Sloan Foundation, AARP and the AARP Foundation are working with the NRF Foundation to develop a resource for retail employers that helps them to:


1) recognize the value of retaining their existing older workforce and recruiting mature workers to reduce skill and labor shortages; and
2) implement workplace flexibility strategies and practices designed to meet the needs of the older workforce.
