Heather Haddon of the Herald News reports on the passage of family leave legislation by the state Senate Labor Committee in "New Jersey Would Be Second in Nation for Paid Leave." The bill will probably go before the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee before a full vote.
Researchers at the Center for Creative Leadership and Clark University recently published a study in the Journal of Applied Psychology confirming that a worker's commitment to his or her family can improve their work performance. The article was featured in our January Literature Update; the citation may be found in our Literature Database.
