Judi Casey gave a presentation, Linking EAP with Work/Life: A Tour of the Sloan Work and Family Research Network, at the MA/RI EAPA chapter meeting on January 12, 2007. Fifty-five practitioners attended the meeting at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Mary Dalyrymple of the Motley Fool writes for MSNBC about six different options for transitioning into retirement in Paths to Retirement: What Kind of Retiree Do You Want to Be?
The Center for Gender in Organizations at the Simmons College School of Management has released a report, Optioning In Versus "Opting Out": Women Using Flexible Work Arrangements for Career Success. The report culminates a study of 400 working women. Findings indicate that women are using flexible work arrangements to stay in the workplace rather than "opt out."
