| Sloan Network Funded for an Additional Three Years |

We would like to welcome you to the redesigned format of the Sloan Work and Family Research Network newsletter, The Network News.
If you are currently an affiliate of the Network, you have already received an email notice sharing the good news that the Alfred P.
Sloan Foundation will continue to support the activities of the Sloan Work and Family Research Network for
the next three years. We are sincerely appreciative for the Foundation’s support. If you are not yet an affiliate, please click here for more information.
Over the next grant cycle, the Network will be transformed into an initiative that stimulates the interest and engagement of
human resource managers, state legislators, as well as academics in work-family research. The Network News is one of the new features of the Sloan Network.
How will The Network News be different from the former Research Newsletter?

The Network News will be delivered directly to affiliates’ e-mail account on a monthly basis.
|
|
The Network News will be concise. Each issue will include an interview with a work-family leader, announcements of upcoming calls for papers and conferences, and a message/update from the Sloan Foundation. It will also incorporate the monthly literature update that we used to send to you in a separate monthly email.
|
|
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, we will be preparing three slightly different versions of The Network News, with each version targeted to one of three audiences: academics, policymakers, and HR leaders and business managers. We hope this strategy will better suit your the needs.
